Nifty Recovers from day's low: Sensex Back to 16000
At 14:34 hours IST - the Sensex bounced back sharply and recovered over 320 points from the day's low and the Nifty 100 points on the back of short covering. Around one percent rise in European markets also aided to this recovery
Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Infosys, SBI, ICICI Bank, L&T, HUL, PNB, Sun Pharma, BHEL, Reliance Communications, Sterlite, Siemens, HDFC and Hero Honda were the leading counters to this bounce back.
However, selling in metal, select auto and technology stocks along with Reliance Industries, NTPC, ITC, DLF and Grasim capped the gains to large extent.
Nifty trading at 4787 up 30 points and Sensex at 16004 up 88 points ..
